Server Backups

Save your roles and channels, then restore them or copy them to another server.

Set it up

  1. Press Create backup to save the current structure.
  2. Turn on daily automatic backups if you want them. The last 7 are kept.
  3. To restore, pick a backup and choose a mode: Add only creates what is missing (matched by name); Wipe replaces everything and needs you to type RESTORE.
  4. You can download a backup as a file and import it into a different server.

Good to know

Backups hold roles and channels, not messages or members. Member-specific permission overwrites are not copied. You can keep up to 25 manual backups. If Backups is off, daily backups pause.

Tip

You can switch Server Backups on or off any time from Modules in the panel. Switching a module off never deletes your settings.
